Why does my automation not connect to a specific service?
Check whether an integration exists
Your platform may not support the service natively. Search its app library first. If the service is not listed, you will need a generic HTTP request step and the service API directly.
Verify the credentials
Double-check the username, password, API key, or token. Services often reject access over a single typo. If you are using an API key, confirm you copied the whole string with no extra spaces.
Confirm account permissions
Your account might not be allowed to create API keys or reach certain features. Log into the service directly and confirm your account can do what you are automating. Some services require a paid plan before API access is enabled.
Check IP allowlisting
Some services block requests from unknown addresses and require you to allowlist your automation platform IP ranges. Look in the service security settings for this.
Test the API on its own
Use a tool such as curl or an API client to call the service outside your automation. A successful call confirms the API and your credentials work, which isolates the problem to the platform integration.
Read the exact error
Match the wording to the cause. An authentication error points to credentials, a rate-limit error means you hit usage caps, and an endpoint-not-found error means the path is wrong. If you are still stuck, contact the service support with your error message and account details.
